The Veteran Director Kasinadhuni Vishwanath will be conferred DadaSaheb Phalke Award for 2016

The eminent director 'Sri Kasinadhuni Vishwanath' conferred with DadaSaheb Phalke
award for his contribution towards the Indian cinema. .He is the 48th recipient of
 DadaSaheb Phalke award the country's highest honor of Indian cinema.The Union
minister of Information and Broadcasting 'Sri Venkaiah Naidu' recommended his name
 to the DadaSaheb Phalke award committee.The president 'Sri Pranab Mukherjee will
grant the prestigious award on May 3rd.

 He is well-known as adirector in Telugu film industry.He made so many outstanding films as
a director in different languages including Telugu,Tamil and Hindi.He is not only as a director
 but also an excellent actor.He had led so many power pack roles in different films. His debut
film was 'Aathma Gowravam' as a director, He started his career as a technician in Chennai.
Later he worked as an assistant director at Adurti Subba Rao and Ramnoth.Thereafter he
became a director and made so many wonderful  art, music and culture related films such as Shankarabharanam, Saagarasangamam, Sruthilayalu, and Sirivennela etc.Moreover, he also
 made so many indispensable films for the society such as Swayam Krushi, Saptapadi and Aapadhbhaandhavudu etc.

 Kalathapaswi Vishwanath has already grabbed so many Nandi, Filmfare, National
 and International awards.But this 'DadaSaheb Phalke' award is very special to him
 in his career.He had granted 'Padma Sri' in 1992. One of his film 'Swathi Mutyam'
got the entry into the best foreign film category.
