Rajamouli and the "Bahubali" team's come up of woes in karnataka are now brimming and overflowing. It appears that the film is not likely to see a smooth release in that state, when the film is released globally on 28th April 2017.

Different Kannada associations have now called for general strikes 'Bandh' on 28th April 2017, the day that the film is to hit the screens. Mr Vatal Nagaraj the president of the Kannada Okoota Association contends that Mr.Satyaraj's comments against Karnataka during the Cauvery  issue several years ago amounts to insulting the people of Karnataka. Only then the film will be allowed to be released in Karnataka.

He even proceeded to warn the theaters and exhibitors of severe consequences if they exhibit the film in contravention of the Association's diktak. Likewise, Mr.Pravinkumar Shetty, President  of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike avers that it is a question of the self-respect of Karnataka people.and therefore the fill will not be allowed to be screened anywhere.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has also joined the issue with the protestors as its president SR Govindu says that Satyaraj has shown disrespect for the Karnataka people. This is indeed an acid test for the film unit. Whether satyaraj will come forward and apologize to the people of karnataka or not remains yo be seen.
